This two-day sightseeing tour will give you a comprehensive view of the local culture and heritage. Explore cities, attractions and have spectacular views as you cruise along the bay.
Meet with your guide at the Cruise Harbor Gate in Halong city. We will drive to Hanoi with a stop along the way to stretch your legs. Upon arrival, you will tour the Hanoi Hilton prison, known as Hoa Lo Prison to locals. This is where American pilots were held as prisoners of war. We will explore the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam from 1000 years ago.
After enjoying a special Vietnamese lunch, we will visit the Ho Chi Minh complex, the Presidential Palace that is a house on stilts. We will also see the One Pillar Pagoda. Explore the old quarters of Hanoi to see the bustling street and life of local people living here. Take a walk to visit a fresh market selling items such as fish, flower, meat, vegetables and chicken. You also have a chance to see many tiny and narrow streets in Hanoi. We will return to Halong for an overnight stay.
Early in the morning, we will meet at the Cruise Harbor Gate and transfer by car to the pier for a four-hour cruise on a wooden private boat. You will visit Thien Cung cave, otherwise known as Heaven Palace cave. Here, you will see thousands of stalactites and stalagmites coloured by hundreds of neon lights. After this tour, we are back to the boat for cruising along the World Nature Heritage part of this waterway. You will see the Incense Bowl islet, Sail islet and Turtle Island.
