Trip Info

This fishing adventure will last for a lifetime in your memories! Enjoy a first-rate and professionally run fishing trip. There are no compromises on quality of service or equipment. Typically, we use five to six-weight rods with floating line and selected wet and dry flies.

A day trip is a full day’s instruction and fully guided tour of the Central Highlands lakes. We also offer two and three-day fishing tours, which include accommodation and meals. We will care for your every need, as we will guide you to choice fishing spots, improve your skills and enable you to feel the weight of a glistening rainbow trout. Your guide offers a fly selection that reflects his extensive knowledge of endemic insect life and Tasmanian trout feeding habits.

You will leave with a fine supply of memories of finding trout, zinging reels, good food and convivial company until your next guided tour with us!

Your adventure awaits!

Rod and Fly Tasmania

We hold trout fishing workshops on land and water to help anglers develop and hone essential fly fishing skills and then implement them on trout fishing tours.
