Trip Info

Granville Island is a magical place and a must see for any visitor to Vancouver. Located where English Bay becomes False Creek, close to two of Vancouver’s main city bridges it is more of a peninsula than an island and is a hub of activity.

Its humble origins are philosophically far removed from what it has become, a sophisticated home to performing arts, art education, dining, artists’ studios and workshops, art galleries and a fabulous public market that offers the widest array of fresh food in the Lower Mainland as well as a favourite place for people to meet, eat and spend some time in a safe and relaxing environment.

The views of the iconic city of glass skyline and world class sunsets, make this an ideal location to practice low light and night photography techniques.

Our group Vancouver Photo Tours are a great way to meet other photographers and check out Vancouver at a relaxed pace with lot’s of opportunity for questions, conversation, and exploring compositions. You’ll come away from this tour with more confidence and better photographs!

If you have five or more people in your party, you may want to consider booking a 2 Hour, Half Day or Full Day Private Photo Tour.
Private tours are guaranteed to run and can be customized to any Vancouver location and photography style.
