Day 1: Arrival at Delhi Airport / Railway Station
The first day of sightseeing. Very few know that Delhi is the world’s second most bird-rich capital city after Nairobi, Kenya. Visit Red Fort which was also the residence for the Mughals and an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, visit the Jama Mosque which is the biggest mosque in India. Afterwards, visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was executed on 31st January, 1948.
New Delhi: Sightseeing in New Delhi includes a visit to Qutub Minar which is the world’s tallest brick minaret. Next, proceed to visit Humayun Tomb, which has also been declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, drive past India Gate and other famous government buildings. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi – Agra (210 Km, 4/5 hour drive) via Expressway
In the morning, after breakfast, proceed to Agra, the city of Taj. Reach Agra and check-in at the hotel. After some refreshments, visit the Taj Mahal – the symbol of love built by Shah Jahan. Afterwards, enjoy some free time during lunch. Post lunch, visit the Agra Fort. In the evening, you can also see the folk show in Agra. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 3: Agra – Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (250 Km, 5/6 hour drive)
Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, proceed to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri, which was once the ancient capital of the Mughal Empire, but was later abandoned due to scarcity of water. Reach Jaipur in evening and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur
Breakfast will be at the hotel. Afterwards, start the sightseeing tour of the Jaipur with a visit to the Amber Fort, also known as Amer Fort as it is located in Amer, which is at a distance of 11 Km from Jaipur. Proceed to visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal, located in the center of the city. This palace has Courtyards, gardens and a variety of buildings to discover. Like other forts and palaces of Jaipur, this palace has a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. It was constructed in a way that would allow the royal women to see the daily life on the boulevard. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Jaipur – Delhi (270 Km, 5/6 hour drive)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Delhi. Reach Delhi and transfer to airport to board your flight to your next destination.
