Trip Info
Travel back in time to old towns and villages, stalactite caves and semi-abandoned mines, giant monoliths and narrow canyons that were formed millions of years ago. You will also explore the amazing and unique Las Vegas, who grew up in the desert out of nowhere!
We begin in Sacramento, capital of California and the oldest town in the state. Explore the State Capitol, the old part of the city and look at John Sutter’s fort-museum. Here is where the gold rush began in the 1800s. We will spend the night in this town.
In the morning, we travel to where the first gold nugget was found and pan for gold. We will visit abandoned mines, stalactite caves and ancient settlements of gold diggers. Enjoy a stop at Sonora, a real cowboy landscape and Jamestown, a large collection of famous vintage steam locomotives. We will have overnight at Jamestown.
The next day will see us head for Yosemite Park to see waterfalls, granite rocks, icy mountain rivers, mirror lakes and Redwoods Forest. After a walk through this amazing park, you go to Fresno, near Sequoia National Park, for the night.
On this day, we travel to the Land of Giants in the park. The park is famous for growing the largest trees by volume in the world. After touring the park, we head to Las Vegas for the night.
On day five, we will have a tour of the town beginning at the famous photograph and sign Welcome to Las Vegas. Enjoy exploring the Strip, Las Vegas Boulevard, with a stop in the most famous spots of Luxor, Bellagio, Venetian, Wynn, Caesar’s Palace and others.
