Trip Info

Enjoy two days in the beautiful country of Georgia. With beautiful nature, tasty food, ancient history and many more exciting features, this hiking tour will give you a better understanding of the local culture and people.

We will start from Tbilisi and stop in Mtskheta, an ancient city and UNESCO World Heritage site. We will see monasteries, Jvari, Svetitskhoveli and drive towards Ananuri Fortress, which is near Jinvali Lake. Afterwards, we will pass Gudauri ski resort and Jvari Pass at 2,400 meters, with the Serpentine Road. After the Pass, we venture down to the north Caucasus. Enjoy a short hike in one of the many nice valleys.

Taste local cuisine of mountain trout, Khabidzgina bread with cheese and potato inside and Khinkali, homemade cheese as we have dinner in a local restaurant. We will stay in at a local guesthouse at 1,800 meters. After breakfast, hike towards the viewing point of a glacier at 3,000 meters. We will be passing by springs and the monastery Gergeti 14th, which is at 2,200 meters.

Admire the views as we have a picnic on the way after seeing the glacier. We will hike down to the car and drive to Tbilisi with nice photo stops on the way.
