Trip Info

Enjoy the beauty of the region with this car tour that combines the scenery of both mountains and oceans. Cross the two via mountain passes into the hot dry karoo then back down to the coast.

We depart from Cape Town by way of the Robertson Winelands for a wine tasting stop in Robertson. We will then visit the oldest and biggest Cheetah and Crocodile Center in the world. We will continue our travels to Oudtshoorn for dinner and an overnight stay.

The next day will see us visit the home of the ostrich industry in South Africa as we stop to explore an ostrich farm. For a special treat, we will stop to enter the famous Cango Caves. After lunch, we will explore the forest and shores of a peaceful lagoon. Enjoy local cuisine at dinner at a waterfront restaurant in Knysna where we will have an overnight stay.

Day three will be an adventure to Tsitsikamma and Plettenberg Bay. Experience a tour through the Tsitsikamma National Reserve to see indigenous plants and forest, deep river gorges and beautiful coastlines. We will also see monkeys and various bird species. Our travels will take us to Plettenberg Bay for dinner and overnight.

In the morning, we will travel to Mossel Bay to discover the Bartolomeu Dias Museum. We shall return to Cape Town in the afternoon.
