This trekking tour takes you along the scenic Gangtey Natural Trail, one of the most beautiful treks in Bhutan. The bowl-shaped Gangtey Valley is an incredible scenic delight, which has the best parts of nature on display. Nestled in this valley is a local traditional farm house, a wonderful place for trekkers to spend a night. The Ghantey Valley is home to the black-necked crane, one of the world’s endangered animals. They migrate to the Gangtey Valley in the winter, coming from the Tibetan Plateau.
We will hike along the trail for roughly one and a half hours. The highlight of this tour is seeing the beautiful black-necked crane. A close second is staying at the quaint, traditional farm house. These two highlights alone make all the hiking worth it! This beautiful hike is the best way to immerse yourself in the amazing, majestic nature of Bhutan.
