Trip Info

On this tour we’ll visit St. Sophia,  built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century. We’ll also head to the Topkapi Palace, the Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque and the Hippodrome. This was the stadium used for horse and chariot racing. We’ll also see some noteworthy monuments –  the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Our last stop with be the Grand Covered Bazaar. This is a labyrinth of streets and passages with more than 4000 shops. Each trade has it’s own area. The Goldsmiths street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, etc.
