Trip Info

Spread your wings and explore the beautiful Moroccan land and quiet magic desert as you venture on a journey of a lifetime. We will be happy to share with all of the great moments of your holidays in Morocco.

Once you meet with your guide at a prearranged location in Marrakech, you will depart early in the morning to cross the Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. We will stop for coffee and a visit at the Argan Oil Cooperative. Enjoy a traditional lunch at a UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou, the most famous Kasbah in Morocco. After lunch, we continue through the Skoura Oasis, where numerous ancient Kasbahs stand amongst the palm trees. The route will take us through Kela’a M’gouna, the Valley of Roses, with a stop to see cosmetics locally made from the valley’s roses. We will continue to the Dades Gorge where we will stay in a hotel by the river for the night.

After breakfast, we walk by the river before continuing to Todra Gorge for lunch. Upon arrival in Erfoud in the early afternoon, we prepare to ride camels into the desert to see the sunset on top of the dunes. Enjoy a special traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious mint tea and absorb the desert silence while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara Desert. Experience the desert life as you spend the night in a traditional nomad tent.

The next day, rise early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes before making our way back to the Erg Chebbi hotel for breakfast and a shower. As we head back to Marrakech, we pass through Rissani, the ancient capital of Morocco. We continue through the Berber villages of Alnif and N’Kob and through the Draa Valley to Agdz. After lunch at Ouarzazate, visit the Taourirt Kasbah before travelling over the High Atlas Mountains to arrive in the early evening.
