Guide

Trip Info

The Danube-bend tour is one of the most spectacular flights in nearby Budapest. Shortly after the take-off from the historical airfield of Budaörs we fly over the Buda hills to reach Margaret Island. We will have a bird’s eye view of the Parliament, Buda Castle and other attractions of Budapest. We will follow the Danube north until reaching the medieval Castle of Visegrad at the gate of the Danube -bend. Around the same time we will reach Visegrad and the astonishing view of the Pilis Hills and the Danube-Bend opens up for us. Our next viewpoint will be the 5th largest church in Europe, the Basilica of Esztergom, just after the Danube-bend on the Hungarian-Slovakian border. After Esztergom we will turn south. On the way back to the base we will see the medieval church at Zsambek and the famous movie production studio of Etyekwood. This tour takes about one hour and we will land at Budaörs.
