Trip Info

Horse Treks’ Fishers Track is a remarkably scenic journey over well-formed open tracks. Starting from the main base, you will ride to Kaitieke Valley back towards the great mountains Ruapehu and Tongariro. You will enjoy the scenery, the native bush lands, river valleys and plateaus, with a stop along the way for a picnic lunch. You will see plenty of wild deer against the hillsides. At the end of the trek, you will go to the National Park railway café and bar, where you can enjoy the refreshment of a cold beer or beverage of your choice, or enjoy a delicious meal to satisfy your appetite.
