Trip Info

Not well known is the fact that winter brings out the canyon’s most majestic scenery!  So grab your coat and join us on the amazing Fat Bike Winter Tours!  Enjoy the freedom and thrill of the ride on this cycling tour as you hit the paved trail going through the forest – keep a keen eye out for wildlife: you may see deer, elk, and various types of birds!  After riding for a half mile, approach the Grand Canyon and know what it is to be awestruck.  It is truly an unforgettable experience to approach such an incredible view – be sure to bring your camera and take some amazing photos!

The journey continues onto the paved green way trail.  You can continue to admire the view as we approach the South Kaibab trail head.  Here we can refill our water bottles, then continue our ride to Yaki Point. Upon arrival at Yaki point the view opens up: Yaki point is a great place to view the eastern buttes, temples, and cliffs known as the Palisades of the Desert. This is the end point of the tour and we will return to the starting point by the same route.
