The Evergreen Sylhet Tour is a five-day nature excursion during which you will visit six different beautiful areas in and around Sylhet City. During your tour, you’ll visit all of the main attractions in Sylhet as you travel around the city in the traditional mode of transportation, the Rickshaw. You’ll take a boat to the last border point of Bangladesh through the beautiful Lalakhal Canal. Visit tea gardens, tribal villages, take a wildlife trek through Khadim rainforest, visit the only swamp forest in Asia and boat to the land of stone. An action packed nature tour awaits you in Bangladesh.
On day one, arrive to Sylhet City and explore for the rest of the day. Travel by Rickshaw around the city and visit the Shrine of Shah Jalal. Visit the tea garden of Bangladesh that was built in the 18th century and the bridge built in the colonial period.
For day two, you’ll head to Jaflong early in the morning to idly enjoy the beauty of it. Visit the village of Khasia Tribe and learn about their lifestyle and culture. See tea gardens and take a boat ride on Mari River. Eat lunch at a local restaurant and then visit Zero Point, the end of Bangladesh.
Day three will see you leave from your Sylhet hotel at 8 a.m. and travel to Lalakhal. Start your day with a wildlife trek in the Khadim Rainforest. After lunch, enjoy a boat ride in the blue water of the Lalakhal Canal to the end of the Indian border and back. Visit a tea garden along the way, then use a motorized local wooden boat for the journey back to Sylhet.
On day four, start for Bisnakhandi at 9 a.m. Here you will see the beautiful landscape of a tiny river flowing from the hills of Meghalaya. The stream flows through stones and is surrounded by hills covered in green vegetation. Eat in a local restaurant and then head back to the hotel.
On your last day of the trip, head to Ratargul at 9 a.m. to idly enjoy the scenery and the beautiful Evergreen Forest. Eat lunch in Ratarful before ending your journey and being transferred to the airport or rail station.
