Everest View trekking is an ideal trekking route for those who are short of time but nevertheless want a view of Mount Everest. It provides a good insight into Sherpa culture without the struggle of high altitude trekking. Everest View trekking offers you the chance to get within reach of the tallest mountains in the world including Everest, Ama Dablam and Lhotse. The trek winds its way through traditional Sherpa’s villages, Buddhist monasteries, snow-capped peaks and offers viewing of a diverse range of wildlife and vegetation.
After you get down at Lukla airstrip your trekking starts to Phakding, the first overnight place, following Dudha Koshi River. Next day you walk through a forest of rhododendron and magnolia and arrive to Namche, a bustling bazaar (market), that’s a junction for trekkers. You stay one more extra day at Namche for acclimatization. On that day you hike to Syangboche, one of the major spots for the view of Mt. Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Amadablam, Mount Thamserku, Mount Kwangde etc.
