This specific trek is one of the many classic trekking routes in Nepal. It is the most popular for achieving the dream of reaching to the lap of the world’s highest mountains and sneaking around the dazzling views of world’s highest Himalayas. This includes Mount Everest at 8,848 meters, Mount Lhotse at 8,516 meters, Mount Cho Oyu at 8,201 meters and Mount Makalu at 8,463 meters. It also encompasses scenes of other adjoining Himalayas, passing through numerous of glaciers, snow-filled rocks and boulders and offers adventure to explore the beautiful village of legendary Sherpas, ancient monasteries and much more.

You will explore diverse floras and faunas as you pass through world’s natural heritage of Sagarmatha National Park which is Nepal’s largest national park and listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This 16-day itinerary will see you will have sightseeing tours around Kathmandu Valley where you will explore the amazing world’s heritage sites, fine arts and architecture and a short scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Right after you land at Lukla airport, you will actually begin trekking via Phakding, pass through steamy forest filled with rhododendron flower, diverse flora and fauna to reach Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Mount Everest Base Camp. You will have a rest for a day to acclimatize yourself at this altitude and then continue trekking to Tengboche, located at around 3,900 meters, where you will explore the age-old Buddhist monastery and have up close views of numerous of Himalayas including Mount Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse. We then continue trekking via Dingboche to Lobuche and climb up to Khumbu Glacier, Gorak Shep, Kala Patthar and finally reach the camp. Enjoy panoramic views of the range of Himalayas and retrace back to Gorak Shep, subsequently to Lobuche, Pheriche, Namche Bazaar and finally get back to Lukla and then fly back to Kathmandu.
