Trip Info

Enjoy a trip of a lifetime as you trek to Everest Base Camp. This 16-day trekking tour will give you opportunities to challenge your hiking ability, see spectacular views and gain an insight of the local culture. We will see Mount Everest, the highest mountain on earth and one of the greatest mountaineering achievements.

The Everest area is known as the Sagarmatha National Park and home to some of the world’s highest peaks. The well-known Sherpas also call this place home. We will go deep into the heart of the Himalayas where the mountain views are stunning and the hospitality of the Sherpa community is heart-warming. You will not only learn about the local people but we will also visit Sherpa villages and monasteries to gain insight into their culture and lifestyle.

We begin with a sightseeing tour to Kathmandu Valley before a spectacular mountain flight to Lukla. From here, we trek along the Dudh Kosi, crossing the Namche Bazaar and continue on to Tengboche. This village is considered the spiritual center of the Khumbu area. Our trek continues to Dengboche, Lobuche and finally along the glacial moraine to GorakShep, the base of Kala Pattar.

Depending on your interest and weather, we will climb to the summit of Kala Pattar for a panoramic view of some of the world’s highest mountains including Everest for either a sunrise or sunset view. We’ll make the three-hour trek on to Everest Base Camp.

On our return, we trek Kala Pattar, Pheriche, Namche and ending at Lukla. We will have a return flight to Kathmandu for a celebration dinner before your departure the next day.
