Trip Info

Glorious sunsets, warm sun and golden sand dunes await you on this cycling tour through the Sahara Desert. Travel through the open spaces of Ergs and barren landscapes of the desert as you explore southern villages and kasbahs. See oases, stunning mud-brick villages and meet the friendly people of this unique destination.

Each day, we will be averaging 27 miles. This adventure is best suited for those of good fitness level as the distances covered are not long but due to the altitude and terrain can be challenging. If you wish, the trip can include a more rugged course through rocky gorges, over other high mountain passes at 2,500 meters.

Our itinerary will run from Marrakech to the Ounila Valley for overnight at Ait Ben Haddou. We travel from Gorges du Draa to Palmeraie Mezquita with a route to Sarhro Ougmar. You will see the amazing Rose Valley as we continue to Ouarzazate. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the High Atlas Mountains before returning to Marrakech.
