Discover the amazing landscapes of Santiago, Chile on this great trekking tour. This four-day trip will introduce you to the wonderful El Plomo Mountain and much more along the way.

Day one will start with your pick up at the Mall Sport. You’ll travel to the Valle Nevado ski resort where you’ll load up your cargo horses. Your trekking journey will begin with a hike up to the Federacion refuge. Along the way, you’ll pass by the Cerro Parva and the El Cepo estuary. You’ll set up camp at the refuge where you will be spending the next three nights.

Day two will be a day of acclimatization. You’ll get your gear and ropes together in preparation for a trip to the summit. Before heading up, you’ll learn many new skills and climbing techniques.

The third day of this trip will bring you on a trek to the summit of El Plomo. This day will consist of seven hours of trekking. Along the way, you’ll enjoy crossing main glaciers and reaching the peak of the mountain. You’ll head back down to the base camp for a delicious meal and a night of relaxation.

The fourth and final day of this tour will be your descent of the mountain. Once you reach your vehicle, you’ll head back to Santiago where you’ll be free to explore as you choose.
