    Transfers from and to the Manuel Antonio/ Quepos area, snack (fruit, juices, water, cookies), all the specialized gear needed for the activity (helmets, PFD’s, paddles), professional, bilingual & friendly guides. Price does NOT include the following: *Transfers outside the Manuel Antonio-Quepos area; photography service, gratuities for guides. * Transfers outside this area can be arranged with an additional charge.

    Seasons: January - April. What to bring: Swimsuit and/or shorts of a quick drying material, towel, sun screen (spf-15 or higher), bug repellent ,complete change of clothes. Rubber soled shoes that stay on and can get wet (strap on sandals, tennis shoes or similar). Flip flops are not recommended. OTHER NOTES: If reserved through a travel agent or hotel, a voucher must be presented before boarding. If reserved directly in our offices please provide invoice. In order to receive full refund for your cancellation you must cancel before 7 p.m. the day before trip departure. For groups (8+) cancellation must be made 5 days before the trip. For high and peak seasons cancellations must be made 7 days before the trip. Please be on time at your specified pickup hotel, no refunds for no-shows. No refunds if trips are cancelled due to high water or other natural causes that would endangered your safety.

Trip Info

One of Costa Rica’s best commercial rafting runs on the Naranjo River, the El Chorro section starts in a village in the mountains called Esquipulas. This adventure rafting tour will guarantee you an adrenaline-filled rush. This 3 km canyon will challenge and delight adventure-seekers, with fun drops and steep runs through 12 technical narrows. Bounce and squeeze through rock walls, maneuver and carve around large obstacles, and paddle hard! Between runs, guests can rest and enjoy the untouched tropical rainforest that surrounds the river, with the chance to see various species of topical birds, such as the Chestnut Mandible Toucan, Aracaris, and several distinct types of Kingfisher. Names of the rapid sections include “Tail of the Dragon”, “Chorro”, and “Asterix & Obelisk.”
