    Walkers should be suitably attired, including footwear, to take into account the vagaries of the Edinburgh weather. If Transport is required this is for the Client to arrange and pay for. Food and drink for the guide is the guest's responsibilty.

Highlights

For example Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace, the homes of the Scottish Kings and Queens, the National Art Galleries (Da Vinci, Titian, Raphael and Rembrandt, among many other Renaissance Master). The choice is endless.
  • St Giles Cathedral.
  • The Writer's Museum in Lady Stair's house. Rabbie Burns, Sir Walter Scott and Robert Louis Stevenson.
  • Further afield: Leith and the Royal Yatch Britannia.
  • Calton Hill, The National Monument of Scotland. Nelson's Tower. Observatories. All on Calton Hill.

Since this is a private guided tour, we can go anywhere you’d like! The tours are¬†arranged to meet the particular interests and inclinations of clients.¬†We can go anywhere in the Edinburgh area for the Half Day excursion. If Clients are undecided as to where to go just ask Mr Usher who will make suggestions.

Here are some examples of places you may want to visit on your tour:

Edinburgh Castle
Usher Hall
The Royal Mile including St Giles Cathedral (which we enter)
and several of Edinburgh’s famous sites
The Mound
The National Galleries of Scotland (which we enter and where Walkers can view paintings by such Titans as Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, Raphael and many others)
Princes Street and Princes Street Gardens
The Scott Monument
George Street
Charlotte Square
