Trip Info

Known for it’s black waters, the “River of mounds” a.k.a Econ River, is the longest river in the state of Florida and has been designated as one of the Outstanding Florida Waters. During the tour, you will encounter a diversion of wildlife, ranging from eagles to alligators, depending on the season. This trip is best if you want to get away from busy city life, or simply get in touch with nature’s conservative side. Since this trip is taken by day, you will be served a light lunch, picnic style, under the shades of enormous oaks, cypress, and palm on high sandy banks of the Florida Trail.
