A popular mooring place for boats, this area offers magnificent views of Table Mountain and the Spanish Waters, home to yachts, luxury homes and the starting line for sail and boat races and water sports.
You will visit the Caribbean Handicrafts Store for souvenir shopping and to the Curacao Liqueur factory located in the restored land house Chobolobo. See how Blue Curacao is produced and have a taste.
We will drive to Punda, which together with Otrobanda is the most renowned part of Willemstad. Admire the Fort Amsterdam, the coloured houses and markets. The area has a very rich and interesting history. It is also recognized the UNESCO World Heritage list.
We will explore Scharloo, a district with beautifully restored houses, dating from the 18th century, the Jewish community, which is the oldest in the Western Hemisphere. We will then cross to the opposite side of the island to see a different aspect of the country.
Enjoy a visit at Boka Tabla, a cave at sea level, located in the Shete Boka National Park. We will enter the cave and climb up to the plateau above to see miles of coastline. After a lunch of local cuisine at a Westpunt restaurant, we will hit the beach at Grote Knip, a beautiful white sandy beach popular with the locals during the weekend. Enjoy the crystal blue waters with a swim and a snorkel tour to find tropical fish and corals.
See the oldest salt plains at Jan Kok dotted with flamingos. We will return to your accommodation late in the day.
