Tour Times: Our West tours run 7 days a week starting the week of Thanksgiving, providing we have adequate snow. Trips are run twice daily with pick-up times at either 8:00am or 1:00pm in Steamboat Springs. Guests will return to Steamboat Springs around 12:00pm or 5:00pm. During March, when the weather warms up, we will only run one trip per day with an 8:00am pick-up time. Alternative trip times & options may be available for groups of 4 or more during our non-peak season - Call for details., Weight of Guests: Weights are essential when making reservations. The number of sled dogs is determined by the weight of the guests. Children’s weights and ages are particularly important., Guests are responsible for dressing warmly & coming prepared for winter Mountain weather conditions. We recommend dressing in layers with proper winter boots, ski jackets & pants, hats, gloves, goggles or sunglasses & sunscreen.

  • Driving the sleds along the private back country trail while enjoying the power and grace of their canine athletes.
  • Learn how to drive the team and enjoy sledding.

Trip Info

Drive your own team of Alaskan Huskies along the scenic 12.5 mile back country trail. Feel the trill of standing on the sled runners & driving the team themselves during the adventure. Stop along the trail for photo opportunities & have time to meet and interact with the dogs.
