Trip Info

On this trip, you will discover the exceptional variety of landscapes inside Nepal, which covers the highest peaks of the world to tropical plains. The slopes of the hills are carved with thousands of terraces, where rice imposes it’s bright emerald green. The villages are built in harmony; houses blend into nature. First reach the Chitwan, large area of forest and savannah, home to wildlife of Nepal. An elephant back or canoe, you will discover the one horned rhino, countless birds, crocodiles … Then you will go to Muktinath shrine and thence by a short walk, go down to Kagbeni, the ancient fortress guarding the entrance of Upper Mustang. The tour ends with a day of relaxation at Lake Fewa in Pokhara, facing the magnificent view of the Annapurna, Manaslu and Machhapuchhare.
This “Discovery Nepal’’ will be completed by visiting some of the most beautiful sites of Kathmandu and its valley.

Itinerary, day by day,

Day 01, Kathmandu, 1365m
Up on arrival at Kathmandu (Tribhuwan International Airport, TIA), you will find our representative will standing in front of arrival gate with office Name card, when you see it you can come nearby him and introduce yourself. He will greet you in traditional Nepali way and guided you to the hotel where rooms are already booked for you. After check-in you are free for rest or personal leisure.

Day 02, Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath
We visit the royal city of Bhaktapur, which lies a dozen kilometres away from Kathmandu. Durbar Square (site of the royal palace), where the imposing temple of Nyatapola (one of the only two temples with five roofs across the Valley) and places potters are unavoidable.
Then we go to Pashupatinath, the most scared Hindu site throughout the valley. To be cremated on the banks of the Bagmati is the most expensive in all Hindu desire; the ashes thrown into the river and end up in the Ganges, the sacred river excellence.
We will finish the day at Boudhanath. Around the largest stupa in Nepal, Buddhist believers turn tirelessly while fingering their beads; the murmur of hundreds of mantras will certainly not leave you indifferent.

Day 03 Drive to Chitwan
After leaving the Kathmandu Valley, the road winds down to Naubise, highway above the bank of Trisuli River and hills in opposite side take you on the edge of Chitwan National Park, the “heart of the forest.” This national park was established in 1973. It extends over 932 km ². The altitude ranges from 150 m to 815 m into the hills.
At evening dinner will be followed by Tharu culture program.

Day 04 Chitwan & its surroundings
Day exploring the Nepalese forest. Excursion on elephant back in which you can see monkeys, deer, wild peacocks and of course; one horned rhinos if we’re lucky. Boat ride on the Rapti River, where crocodiles and many birds swim observation.

Day 05 Drive to Pokhara (820m)
We hit the road and continue on until Mugling, on the way to Kathmandu and diverts toward Marshyangdi Bridge for Pokhara. Pokhara city is best known among tourists for its lake, Phewa Tal and the beautiful view of the Annapurna range and the famous Machhapuchhare. Evening 1 hour boating at Phewa Lake will refresh you by shadow of Fishtail in crystal clear water like mirror.

Day 06, Sightseeing in Pokhara
Early in the morning we can go to Sarangkot, magnificent sunrise view to Fishtail, Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri, Langtang, Manaslu etc.
After breakfast, we can continue more sightseeing; to enjoy the magnificent view from the Peace Pagoda, International Mountain Museum, Davi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, buy some souvenirs in the shops of Lake Side or just hang out on a many terraces around the lake.

Day 07, Kathmandu, 1365m
Back to Kathmandu by road (with tourist bus) which will takes 6/7 hours. At evening farewell by Typical Nepali cuisine with culture program.

Day 08, Kathmandu (1365m)
In the morning we visit Swayambhunath, one of the oldest Buddhist shrines in the valley. As pilgrims, you can climb the 365 steps of the grand staircase to discover the imposing mass of the stupa. On the esplanade many monuments await you, such as two large shikharas, shrines representing the five elements, the “garden” chortens, the pretty little Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Harati Ajima and many others. From the terraces near the stairs, the view of Kathmandu and part of the Valley is striking.
In the afternoon we will visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square, the site of the royal palace, full of temples and pagodas of great beauty. We enter into some courses of the Royal Palace where you can admire the fine work of sculptors Newar on doors and windows. Then we will go to the Kumari Palace, the only living goddess in the world, played by a girl chosen from the caste of goldsmiths and meet an impressive list of criteria
