Marseille, the oldest city in France, was founded by the Phoenicians, 2600 years ago. I’ll introduce you to the heart of the old city of Marseilles, on the Mediterranean coast. While walking through the city, historic and major buildings will be pointed out, as well as hidden gems that can be found on the way during our orientation walk.
This itinerary includes driving along the Corniche. Beginning with a panoramic from the balcony of Notre Dame de la Garde, we will help you discover the city’s main spots of interest, from the Old Port to the new monuments created for the event, “Marseille, European Capital of Culture in 2013.”
