Among the dunes, there are several oasis and you can easily get water just by digging a little. The trip to the oasis starts with a long route by road which is an experience itself, geographically speaking. With the numerous stops to cool down, enjoy getting in contact with the local people and visit some of the best places in Morocco.
Zagora, the Gate to the Sahara, is the last town before one reaches the heart of the Sahara Dunes of Tinfou and Erg Chegaga Dunes. One of the tourist attractions of Zagora is the sign that points Timbuktu 52 days.
