Trip Info

This tour will start at 9:00 a.m.. Meet at Coffee Home, located near Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi. After gathering there we will have a small introduction with each other and will discuss the tour plan by metro. This tour is going to be fun, with a mixture of local vehicles that includes – the Metro, auto rickshaws with short walks. We will cover Old Delhi with some other sightseeing of nearby location.

This is a great opportunity for both domestic and international tourists where you can figure out some real Indian experience with some sightseeing in hand. Guiding plays a vital role in making you more comfortable and allows you to travel with ease, safely and securely through Delhi.

As per our plan, first we will move toward the Rajiv Chowk Metro Station getting off at Chandi Chowk Metro Station. From there we will take Rickshaw rides to Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques and also a UNESCO Heritage sites. Your head should be covered with cloth and you should wear decent cloths as we will head towards the mosque. After visiting Jama Masjid, move towards Chandi Chowk Market with a Rickshaw ride. It literally means ‘moonlit market’ and was established during the 17th century. It was once known as India’s largest wholesale markets. Stop at some famous shops like Haldirams to taste some of Delhi’s famous “Chaat”.

From there, we will take the metro from Chandi Chowk to Rajiv Chowk. Get off in the Rajiv Chowk metro station and take an auto rickshaw to Bangla Sahib. After reaching this destination, cover your head with a cloth and head inside the temple. Sit down and hear the songs of god that will give you inner peace. Exit from the temple and again take a rickshaw and board the metro to Central Secretariat Metro Station. If you want, you can take a short walk for 10 minutes or you can take a rickshaw to reach India Gate. It is a memorable gate where the names of more than 13,516 British and Indian soldiers were killed during World War I of 1919. Also you can see the Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House). Stop for a break and relax on the green grass, near an artificial lake – take some memorable pictures.

This is where our tour will end – we will board the metro for the next station where you will head back to your hotel.
