Trip Info

We’ll spend the day visiting the famous Constantia Valley.

The farms/estates along the route include:

Groot Constantia – A 300 year old wine estate, the oldest in South African.

Eagles’ Nest – One of our favourites – a magical setting that you don’t expect!

Constantia Glen – Lovely lunch platters are available while wine-tasting. Or delicious soup in Winter!

Buitenverwachting – The name means “Beyond Expectation” and the farm lives up to it.

Klein Constantia – Home to the famous ‘Vin de Constance’, possibly the best sweet wine on earth.

Steenberg Vineyards – They have a beautiful black pet pig! And a lovey fireplace for winter tastings.

Beau Constantia Beautiful views of the majestic Helderberg and Stellenbosch Mountains. And they do wine & sushi pairing!

A number of the farms have restaurants and once you have booked your tour we will send you options of where you can have lunch.

The day won’t be all about tasting wine, there are pretty walks on the farms, wine history to hear/read about and places to sit for refreshments and to simply enjoy the spectacular views.

Your adventure awaits!
