This eco tour is held in the Manu Biosphere
Day 1: Cusco – Mirador Amazon Lodge.
Guests will make the first stop during their private bus ride at the pre Inca burial towers of Ninamarca, then continue through the mountains to reach the town of Paucartambo. Once there, guests take a stroll around town before carrying on toward Tres Cruces, the entrance to Manu National Park – which is also the highest point.
From here we will continue into the Cloud Forest and at Fog forest we will explore for around 3 hours to observe the National bird of Peru, the biggest monkey in Peru (woolly monkeys) and different types of bromeliads and beautiful orchids, then we arrive at our lodge in the evening where we will sleep in a beautiful and rustic lodge.

Meals: Lunch (Box Lunch) Dinner
Day 2: Mirador Amazon Lodge – Harpy Eagle Lodge.
After breakfast we will continue by private bus to Atalaya. On the way we will stop to observe a coca plantation, we will also stop at a view point where you can get a good overview of the jungle and river. From Atalaya we leave by motorized boat to our lodge. Along the boat trip we will see many different kinds of animals, birds, plants and flowers.
In the afternoon we will visit Machuwasi Lake where we will take a balsa raft and see the pre-historic Hoatzin bird, watch the beautiful sunset, (included night expeditions) to see tarantulas, different types of spiders, poisonous frogs, tree frogs, snakes, alligators, night monkeys, armadillos and boas.
We will spend the night in our rustic at Harpy Lodge.

Day 3: Harpy Eagle Lodge – Cusco.
We will leave early to visit the parrot clay lick , after breakfast we will walk in the jungle for several hours and see different animals, birds such as tiger heron, eagle, flycatcher, kingfisher etc. and many different kinds of plants and flowers.
We will return to Atalaya by boat where our private bus will be waiting to take us back to Cusco.
We return to Cusco via the cloud forest and Paucartambo. We will arrive back in Cusco in the late afternoon.

The Manu National Park is known for its variety in flora and fauna species.
More than 20,000 species. 40% of the park is Amazonian lowland tropical, including, oxbow lakes, palm swamps, and upland forest types.
The Manu Biosphere Reserve has a very rich wildlife. Larger species of the lowland forests include jaguar, puma, ocelot, giant otter, giant anteater, southern tamandua, giant armadillo, nine-banded armadillo, brown-throated sloth, Brazilian tapir, capybara, pacarana, lowland paca, collared peccary, white-lipped peccary and several deer species, like South American red brocket. There are 14 species of monkeys. These are Goeldis marmoset, pygmy marmoset, emperor tamarin, squirrel monkey, black-headed night monkey, red howler monkey and woolly monkey. The puma also reaches very high elevations of up to 3450 m.
