Trip Info

Discover the unknown Addis Ababa with this walking tour of the city. More than two million people reside at the foothills of the Entoto Mountains. Your knowledgeable guide will provide you with the history as you explore special attractions.

You will learn about the important economy and social welfare of the capital. The local university houses a palace and the Ethnological Museum. This museum is set within the palace and showcases artefacts and handicrafts from the country’s people. Unlike many museums, this one has its contents displayed based on life cycle beginning with childhood, rites of passage and traditional tales.

A visit to the St. George Cathedral will give insight into the patron saint of the soldier. This octagon-shaped building was built in 1896. We will visit other churches, museums and monuments throughout the city.

Enjoy a taste of traditional cuisine as we stop for lunch at a local restaurant.

Your adventure awaits!
