Guide

Trip Info

On this 4 hour private sightseeing tour, we will introduce you to the historic city of Prague. We will go on a walking tour of the city coined by Bernard Bolzano, in the 19th century, as the “city of a hundred towers.” Learn about the rich history of the Czech Republic, experience the culture in the different quarters, and visit the amazing heritage sites that will blow you away!

We will begin the walking tour at the place Czech history was written – the Wenceslas Square, in the centre of the New Town. We will then continue walking to the Old Town square, one of the oldest marketplaces in all of Prague. Two places we cannot miss are the historic Town Hall, and the world renowned Astronomical Clock. The clock is one of the most famous types of this clock in the world, and dates back to 1410.

The tour continues to the house of Franz Kafka, a famous Jewish writer. One of the most influential writers of the 20th century, he was known for his novels and short stories. We will then walk through the Jewish quarter, and pass by the Old Jewish Cemetery and synagogues. The walking tour will then continue through Klementinum and Rudolfinum, which houses the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra.

Look forward to crossing the Charles Bridge, and immersing yourself in the enchanting Lesser Quarter, highlighted by the Saint Nicholas Church. The walking tour will then continue up the hill, to Prague Castle, where the St. Vitus Cathedral is located, which houses the Czech Crown Jewels and the burial site of King Charles IV.
