You will spend an unforgettable day discovering the most impressive Ligurian landscapes during this sightseeing tour in Italy. In this area, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, earth and sea blend and create a unique landscape. The area consists of eighteen kilometers of rocky coasts with caves, beaches, paths and breathtaking views, which you will enjoy by train and by boat. RioMaggiore, dating back to the 13th century, is famous for its wine. Vernazza is overlooked by the remains of a medieval castle with a cylindrical tower. Monterosso, known as the “Pearl of Cinque Terre,” is an ancient fishing village with lovely beaches and lush vegetation on the rocks. In Monterosso, you may choose to indulge in a delicious, fish-based lunch in a typical restaurant on the beach overlooking the bay (*optional). A different menu is also available on request. After lunch, you will taste the local “Limoncino ligure,” in a quaint wine shop. In the afternoon, you will have free time for a swim or a walk. Manarola is a tiny urban jewel characterized by Genoese style “case-torri.”
