Trip Info

Set yourself along the 800 km stretch of the Nepal Himalayas on this amazing adventure. Your trekking tour takes places within the greatest region in the world.

Cho Oyu stands high above the Tibetan plains on the Nepal and Tibet border. The world’s sixth highest mountain, this mammoth is known to local as a Holy mountain. It was first climbed by S. Moechler, H. Tichy and P. Dawa Lama in 1954.

You will have breathtaking views from the summit plateau as you will be able to see the entire panorama of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Chamlang, Ama Dablam and other peaks of the Khumbu.

Enjoy your climb as you find Cho Oyu is the most technically straightforward, accessible and safest to climb. Of the more than four different routes on Cho Oyu, the Tibetan north side offers several worthy first ascent possibilities. We enter Tibet via Zhangmu and then drive to Old Tingri, from where the trekking begins.
