Trip Info
Ascent to Cerro Champaquí.
It is the highest hill in the province of Córdoba with 2790 meters above sea level.
The ascent involves 3 days of hiking.
First day 8 hours of walking, starting to walk in the town of Villa Alpina. This day we arrived at the area where the mountain shelters are located.
Afternoon snack and a delicious dinner await us.
The second day is the summit day, we walk around 4 hours to the highest point. In the tour we visit waterfall caves, once we reach the top of the hill we will have one of the best views, from the highest you can see the entire Valley of “Calamuchita” to the East, and the valley of “Traslasierra” to the East. From there you can see even the province of San Luis. At night Roasted to celebrate the summit.
The third day, after breakfast, we started the descent to Villa Alpi.a to finish our tour.
