Trip Info

Fish the Mosquito Lagoon inside the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge while standing on the bow of a 16′ flats skiff propelled by a push pole. Cast to fish you can see on the shallow grass flats using light tackle or fly fishing gear. Catch redfish, seatrout, and black drum in less than two feet of water using soft plastic lures or fly.

For the most success, anglers should have medium to advanced casting skills, as speed and accuracy are important.
