Visit the glacier ravaged mountains of New Zealand’s Southern Alps on this Ski and Snowboard tour, The Carver. Escape to the slopeside lake vistas and untouched tracks like nowhere else on the planet, sure to satiate your craving for a joyride in the off-season! The New Zealand “Club Fields” are an experience in themselves with their backyard, small town feel. When you’re not heli-skiing in the most glorious terrain you can imagine, you’ll be savoring a traditional Maori feast, racing down the skyline luge, taking in the vibrant nightlife of “The Adventure Capital of the World”, Queenstown, NZ … and much more.

DAY 1: Christchurch & Maori Cultural Experience
Bask in the South Pacific sunshine, explore the city, and enjoy an evening of culture and festivities in the tradition of New Zealand’s native Maori

DAY 2-3: Mt Olympus and Craigieburn Valley
Spend these days exploring Mt Olympus, known as “the playground of the gods,” or braving the rugged terrain of Craigieburn Valley, known for its Middle Basin bowl and backcountry.

DAY 4-5: Ohau
Day 4: Enjoy a day of rest as we climb into the MacKenzie Highlands and settle for a comfortable night at Ohau Lodge.
Day 5: Ride the Ohau Snow Fields, home to the area’s ski racing academy, and enjoy spectacular views of Lake Ohau.

DAY 6-8: Queenstown & Milford Sound
Day 6-7: Explore the endless opportunities in the global hub that is Queenstown, with everything from spa treatments and horseback riding to white water rafting, skydiving, JetBoating, and the world’s 1st commercial bungy jumping sites, then ride to the top of the gondola for a gorgeous view and a race down the Skyline Luge.
Day 8: Enjoy an additional day in Queenstown or embark on an optional day trip to world-renowned natural wonder Milford Sound. An ocean cruise, vast fjords, seal colonies, and magnificent 300 ft waterfalls await you.

DAY 9: Wanaka
Travel to Lake Wanaka for stunning photo opportunities and time to wander this charming Kiwi town at the foot of the Southern Alps.

DAY 10: Treble Cone
With unrivalled views, the largest skiable area in NZ, and the longest vertical in the Southern Alps, Treble Cone has splendor and freedom all its own.

DAY 11: Methven
Relax your muscles and your mind with an evening in Methven, the picturesque premier snow sport town in New Zealand’s Canterbury country. Enjoy a solid night’s rest and store your adrenaline for the following day’s events.

DAY 12: HeliPark
Powder or chutes, bowls or rock drops, it’s your line to create and conquer. With 660 hectares of heli-accessed freeriding, this is an epic, unforgettable day.

DAY 13: Christchurch & Farewell Celebration
Dine, relax, and celebrate on our last night in New Zealand

DAY 13 + 1: Departure
Bid New Zealand a fond farewell and depart for home
