Guide

Trip Info

After pickup at your hotel or B&B, we’ll drive to Hout Bay where we will visit the harbor and beach and enjoy the spectacular views.

Leaving Hout Bay, we’ll drive over Chapman’s Peak (weather permitting), which is well known as one of the most spectacular drives in the world. We’ll stop along the way to enjoy the view and take photographs.

Should Chapman’s Peak be closed, we’ll drive over Constantia Nek & Ou Kaapse Weg.

We’ll arrive in Noordhoek, on the other side of Chapman’s Peak,¬†where we’ll visit Noordhoek Farm Village. You can visit shops selling local crafts.

Next, we’ll head to Cape Point where the currents of the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. Here, you can enjoy the spectacular views and hopefully spot the Cape Point Big 5 (zebra, ostrich, bontebok, eiland and baboon). You can take the funicular or walk up to the lighthouse to capture amazing shots of False Bay and browse around the craft shops.

Leaving Cape Point, we will drive along the coast to Boulder’s Beach where we will stop to see the famous Jackass penguins.

We’ll then head back towards the City along the coast through Simon’s Town and Fish Hoek and over Boyes Drive.
