Night photography challenges technique and artistry. But the rewards are enormous. Whether it is midtown Manhattan or Coney Island, capturing the atmosphere is truly an exciting adventure. Shadows, available light sources, forms and textures are all enhanced at night and the images captured are unforgettable – especially in the city that never sleeps!

Brooklyn is layered with history, multi-cultural life, art and a very particular urban rhythm that Brooklyn NY Photo Adventures guide Sheila Archer calls “the soul of Brooklyn.” She wants visitors to be able to photograph and experience this gutsy, authentic and avant-garde vitality. With photography tips and techniques, Sheila's goal is to help people learn skills that will inspire them and, at the same time, have a lot of fun!
