Trip Info

Spend a day visiting “Britain’s spectacular coast,” and explore the UK’s premier seaside resort and the stunning white cliffs of England’s south coast.

We will depart Cambridge at 8:00 am, and depart for Brighton. In addition to being a beautiful destination on the coast, Brighton has a rich history, as well as heritage buildings. Brighton was once a retreat for the rich London elite. Royalty such as the Prince Regent, and King George IV chose Brighton as the home for their seaside palace,  the Brighton Royal Pavilion. Nowadays, Brighton is a town with grand buildings, narrow streets, amusement arcades on the pier, and a spectacular pebble beach. Take a leisurely walk down The Lanes, and see what the shopping streets have to offer!

Our next stop on the day tour is the beautiful Beachy Head, where you will find the white cliffs of the Seven Sisters. Stand atop the highest cliff at Beachy Head, and take in the spectacular views across the English Channel. Behind you, you will see the rolling landscape of the South Downs. Immerse yourself in the true beauty of this area by enjoying the sounds of the crashing waves, with the pebble beach below.
