Trip Info

Day trip with from Bordeaux to the Dordogne Valley with English speaking private driver guide.

We will explore Lascaux, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the famous caverns with Paleolithic art. These paintings are estimated to be over 17,000 years old.

We will make our way to les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil in the Périgord Noir, home of the Musée national de Préhistoire. The area contains several important archaeological sites.

We will take a tour of Font-de-Gaume,  and view the prehistoric polychrome cave paintings and engravings from the Magdalenian period.

Lastly, we will  board an electric train to visit the Cave of the hundred mammoths. View and learn about the wooly mammoth, rhino, bison, horse, antelope, and more!
