Trip Info

Explore two of Jamaica’s unbelievable paradise, Black River and YS Falls. The Black River is one of the longest rivers in the country and its name refers to the darkness of the riverbed. Thick layers of decomposing vegetation cause this. YS Falls opened in 1992 to provide the opportunity to experience the beauty of the waterfalls that are surrounded by lush gardens and magnificent trees.

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel or cruise ship pier in a private air-conditioned vehicle. We will travel westward through the hills, passing small farming and rural villages surrounded by breathtaking countryside scenery. Upon arrival to the Black River, enjoy a boat ride and see some of the more than 100 species of birds. It is also one of the last habitats of the endangered crocodile. Crocodile sighting is frequent and the flora and fauna of this area are spectacular. On feeding days, you will see Charles Swaby, the resident crocodile expert, hand-feed the crocodiles.

We will then venture to YS Falls, a pure natural beauty hidden in near the south coast. Enjoy a tractor-pulled trailer ride to the Falls in the hills. Have fun at the 120-foot tall spectacular, which has seven levels of water cascading into a four-feet deep pool at the bottom. Swim and relax for the rest of the tour.

You will be transported back to your hotel or cruise ship pier.
