- See one of the most beautiful and desirable coastlines of Brazil.
- Discover the super rare Black Hooded Antwren.
- Take this tour in private.
This trip to the southern part of Rio de Janeiro state offers some of the most beautiful scenaries of the Brazilian coastline, with emerald water, sandy beaches and pristine forest.
This 3 and half hour trip takes you to one of the biggest and better preserved patches of the Atlantic Forest, where the Black Hooded Antwren was rediscovered. Other endemics and rarities are on the list for the day, including Buff-throated Purpletuft, Fork-tailed Pygmy-Tyrant, Brazilian and Red-necked Tanagers and many more.
This tour is better when combined with an overnight at the historical village of Paraty with a morning birding along the Paraty-Cunha road.
