Trip Info

Dardanelles, Gallipoli has gained grim notoriety due to the bloody battles fought there during the First World War. The peninsula’s gentle contours and compact size lend themselves to being explored by bicycle either with camping gear or relying on guesthouses for accommodation.

There are some different routes that combine the historical must-visit stops with natural beauties. It is also possible to follow the fire tracks and look at the peninsula from what is possibly the least visited site.

The road conditions on the peninsula are not bike-friendly due to the size of it; therefore, to bike in peace and comfort, I follow either the least used route to visit the memorials such as Suvla sector or bike on the least visited days.

I look forward to guiding you!
