Trip Info

Explore the capital city on this walking sightseeing tour. We will meet at the city’s commercial core, the Main Station, where we introduce ourselves and adapt the program according to your expectations and needs. Some of the recommended sites include passing the Federal Palace, the Clock Tower, Albert Einstein’s home, the Bärengraben and the Cathedral of St. Vincent. The cathedral’s first stone was laid in 1421. From the Cathedral Tower, you’ll get a panoramic view of Bern.

There is much to see and learn as we walk through the traditional Berner streets, directly in the Old Town. There is the Prison Gate called the Käfigturm and dates from the 1200s. It now shelters a tiny museum. Nearby, we will make a stop for a delicious lunch in a typical Swiss restaurant, where you can try the local cuisine and taste some Swiss wines.

As we continue, we will note the Bundeshaus, which is the centre seat of Swiss democracy. From here, we can go shopping or finish the tour.
