Trip Info

This walking tour starts at the ‘Place of 9th November 1989′ which played an essential role in Berlin’s recent history as the first place where the Wall fell after enforcing 28 years of separation between East and West.

We follow the wall along the former death strip and visit both well-known stops and those which are only known by insiders and which document a fascinating and shocking history. The tour goes from the former border station Bornholmer Straße to the ex-ghost train station Nordbahnhof.
