Trip Info

The Berici Hills are really a little gem for nature, history and good food lovers. It is far from the mass tourism beaten tracks. Someone once said it reminds them of Tuscany!

You will enjoy exploring the region, located south of Vicenza, the city of the famous Palladio architect. This is also just a few kilometres from Venice and Verona. They are characterized by their variegated environments, from oak and chestnut woods to rocky faces with Mediterranean vegetation.

The history begins early in the pre-historical era. We will see the famous caves where the ancient man used to live. Our trekking tour will begin with an easy hike where your guide will describe the secrets of this place while you relax, enjoying nature. During, or after our hike, we could stop in a local farm to taste some typical products like the famous olive oil, wines and truffles.

The tour lasts a full day but if you want to stop more than one day, just ask! It can be arranged for you to extend your stop in a beautiful local agrotourism, other hiking days or a Vicenza city tour.
