An authentic experience with breathtaking nature and charming Berber culture await you in the three neighboring valleys of Imlil, Imnane and Azzaden. This is a great walk that will allow you to catch a glimpse into the traditions and customs of the day to day life of farming and herding Berber communities.
Day 1: Starting at Imlil (1740 meters) we will trek to Tizi n’Tamatert (2300 meters), Imnane valley (3400 – 3500 meters), and Tacheddirt or Tinghourine villages (2400 & 2200 meters respectively). Enjoy tasting Berber food specialties including kefta tajine, couscous, and a traditional soup Tahrirt.
Day 2: From Imnane valley we will trek to Aguersioual pass (2100m), and Oudit pass (2200m) in the valley of Azzaden. We will spend the night in Ait Aissa village or, alternately, we can stay overnight in the village of Tizi Oussem, where we can use the village hamam (traditional steam bath).
Day 3: From Azzaden valley we will go to Tizi Mzik (2500m) and then return to Imlil (1740m)
