  • Prime time for Chinook is the last 3 weeks of August and first week of September, with good migratory fish June through July.
  • We have great opportunities to view wildlife including hump back whales, orca and sea lions.
  • Our vessels have on-board washrooms to provide a comfortable experience for guests.


Trip Info

These trips are full day fishing adventures, departing from either Port Alberni or Bamfield. We will spend the day in beautiful Barkley Sound fishing. Barkley Sound does also offer fishing for Cod and Halibut. Barkley Sound offers protected waters with many islands to explore. You may also encounter whales, sea lions, eagles and other wildlife.

You will enjoy setting off in one of our Grady White charter vessels, which are Transport Canada safety, certified. Your guides are also certified Tidal Angling Guides. Your professional guide will ensure to do their utmost to make your day on the water a success.

This trip can be turned into a multiple day trip if you wish. You will get a chance to unwind from a fun-filled day of fishing at your choice of two different lodge options, including a wonderful 5-star lodge if you so desire.

As a bonus service to you, we will clean and filet your catch.
