Explore the Bardia National Park on this wildlife safari tour. Home to Nepal’s finest tiger reserve, this region is famous for its unspoiled wilderness and indigenous people. More than 30 different mammals, 400 bird species, 25 species of reptiles and nearly 121 species of fish have been sighted and recorded in the park. It is one of the best places to view the most magnificent of cats, the Bengal Tiger as the chance to see them are almost 80%.
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu, we fly to Nepalgunj and unwind at the hotel which features a Tharu bar and beautiful garden. You will uncover the Tharu life and culture with a Tharu village and culture tour. We will visit the Tharu Museum and a crocodile breeding center.
The next day will feature a walking safari to view the Gangetic Dolphins. You may have the opportunity to swim with the magnificent creatures as well.
Day three will be a day of exploration as we enter the tiger territory, have a safari riding elephants and a jeep safari. Depending on time and weather, we may also do a rafting tour.
In the early morning, we will have a bird watching tour followed by chance to explore the surrounding village. We will visit an elephant breeding center before driving to Nepalgunj Airport to fly back to Kathmandu.
